Herbal Alternatives
Prescription Erectile Dysfunction Medication and Penis Enlargement Surgery...
It's true... the medical community typically now prescribes herbal formulas and recognizes natural alternative healing methods in an effort to promote optimum health.
With the increase in the use of prescription pharmaceuticals to treat sexual disorders such as erectile dysfunction, is the prescribing of herbal alternatives to erectile dysfunction medication and penis enlargement surgery next...
Herbal Prescriptions
In the past, medical doctors have traditionally been reluctant to embrace natural and herbal healing as a viable alternative, even though the use of herbal formulas dates back to the earliest written records, the Ayurvedic texts.
The reason for this reluctance to embrace herbal remedies in the past, has mainly beeb due to the fact that doctors trained decades ago simply have not been taught about herbal or natural healing.
Herbal Formulas not part of Curriculum
Herbs and natural alternatives to western medicine were not part of your typical medical school curriculum, and now that they are out of medical school with their own medical practices few physicians are interested in taking the time to learn about herbs and other alternative forms of health care.
Herbals and Natural Healing Dismissed
Many doctors simply have not taken herbals seriously, while dismissing natural healing as a viable option. This was inspite of the fact that herbal and alternative methods of healing are the basis of much of today's modern medicine being practiced in North America and around the globe.
Herbals and Pharmaceuticals
Another major deterent to the use of herbal as an alternative treatment is the unique relationship that has developed over the years between the doctors and patients, and the pharmaceutical companies.
Habitual Prescribing of Pharmaceuticals
Doctors are used to prescribing something to nearly everyone they see. In fact, many patients demand it. Patients expect a cure, and because they have seen the drugs being advertised on television, the Internet or radio they can often request their 'prescription cure' by brand name.
Physicians are also heavily influenced by their pharmaceutical salesmen and what has been presented to them.
In such a scenario, there is little room for herbal or natural healing to get a foot hold in main stream medicine.
Herbal Alternative Earn Respect
Times have changed, and will continue to change thus revolutionizing the practice of 21st century medicine.
There is currently a growing body of scientific research to back up the time-honored herbal remedies that in many cases root back hundreds and even thousands of years ago.
Tradition and respected remedies and treatment for common ailments and conditions that during the 20th century were increasingly dismissed as of no value.
Herbals and Polyherbal Extracts
It wasn't until the 1950's that that analytical techniques had evolved to the point to allow the identification of active constituents in individual plants and herbs. Subsequently, human studies were undertaken with standardized extracts of single as well as polyherbal formulations to demonstrate efficacy in double-blind clinical trials.
Herbals in Modern Medicine
Today's doctors take herbal formulas and natural remedies seriously. They actually study herbal formulas in clinical trials, and regularly recommend specific natural methods as an alternative to pharmaceuticals.
It is also becoming more common to see doctors endorsing the use of herbs in order to enhance sexual function. Clinical trials over the past decades support the use of herbal formulations in the treatment of everything from erectile dysfunction to penis enlargement.
Herbal Alternatives a Natural Choice
Another reason that the main stream medical community has finally become more willing to accept herbal formulas and natural remedies as an alternative to pharmaceuticals is because an ever increasing number of individuals within the masses have been persistent in their demands.
In spite of efforts by certain lobby groups, government agencies and the pharmaceutical companies themselves to increase the regulation and control of herbal remedies, individuals such as you and I have resisted the take over.
Slick Marketing and the Pharmaceutical Conspiracy against Herbal Alternative Remedies...
There are some who believe it is nothing more than a conspiracy to take away our freedom to choose a more natural way of caring for and healing our bodies, than by taxing our systems with chemical and synthetic drugs and pharmaceuticals at the advice of slick marketing campaigns and TV adds.
I mean really, have you ever listened to the list of possible side effects that is attached to virtually every popular prescription drug you see advertised today?
A perfect example was a commercial I witnessed the other day promoting a popular erectile dysfunction prescription pharmaceutical. The following was taken directly from their official website.
Pay attention to the last possible side effect on the list, cause it's rather scary warning...
Name Removed can cause your blood pressure to drop suddenly to an unsafe level if it is taken with certain other medicines. With a sudden drop in blood pressure, you could get dizzy, faint, or have a heart attack or stroke.
Do not take Name Removed if you:
- take any medicines called "nitrates". Nitrates are commonly used to treat angina. Angina is a symptom of heart disease and can cause pain in your chest, jaw, or down your arm.

Nitrates can also be found in other medicines such as isosorbide dinitrate or isosorbide mononitrate. If you take too much Name Removed, call your doctor or emergency room right away.
The most common side effects with Name Removed are headache, flushing, stuffy or runny nose, indigestion, upset stomach, or dizziness. These side effects usually go away after a few hours.
Name Removed may uncommonly cause:

These are not all the side effects of Name Removed. For more information, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
So you could end up walking around with a perpetual hard-on and color blind... nice!
I don't know about you, but after reading through the 'official' literature, some of which is listed above... an all natural herbal alternative is beginning to sound pretty good.
Herbal Alternatives
First off, the all natural herbal alternatives aren't pharmaceuticals... they are plant extracts. They are combined in such a way as to bring balance to the bodies natural functions and promote over all health and well being.
Quality herbal alternatives do not contain any of the following list of ingredients found in the same common pharmaceutical prescribed to men with erectile dysfunction...
Active Ingredient: vardenafil hydrochloride
Inactive Ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, yellow ferric oxide, and red ferric oxide.
Unbelievable... I don't know about you but I think I'd need some serious help just deciphering the ingredients, what they are, and the possible complications and side effects that could be experienced by taking such a drug.
And what about the warning to seek medical attention if you experience an erection that won't go away. Personally I'll take the herbal alternative thank you!
